Studio: $5,429 per month

One-Bedroom: $6,650 per month

Transportation Services

Yes, we provide transportation for residents whether that be for doctors appointments, grocery store, outings/events, etc. The buses leave several times a day to take residents to various places. We also have a car that will take residents by themselves to just their doctors appointments.

Dining Options in Independent Living

In Independent Living, we have a main dining room and we have a Village Market as well. So two different dining options. The main dining room is very large and offers lunch and dinner options. The Village Market serves breakfast and has smaller and more convenient lunch/dinner options such as burgers, pizza, chicken tenders, or sandwiches. They also have a little grocery store full of items in case they need to grab a gallon of milk or something.

Addressing Resident Complaints

In Independent Living, if a resident has a complaint they will most likely speak with Doug Malin, who is the executive director at Alexian Village. He will talk with the resident to come up with a solution to whatever problem they are having.

Costs and Additional Charges

I included the price sheet in my previous email. That is the only costs associated with living here that I have access to. The only additional charges would be should you request to have your meals delivered to your apartment or need additional housekeeping services than already offered.

Contacting Residents' Families

In Independent Living, we only contact the residents' families in case of an emergency. I’m not sure about Assisted Living or Health Care.

Pet Policy

We are a pet-friendly community only in Independent Living. There are no pets allowed in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Health Care.

Waitlist Information

There is currently a waitlist for Assisted Living and Memory Care. I am not sure about Health Care. And Independent Living does not have a waitlist. We have several options available for immediate move-in.

Alexian Village is a senior living community that offers a nurturing environment for both assisted living and memory support. Our community is designed to provide a comfortable and supportive atmosphere for our residents, ensuring they feel at home.

Accommodation Options

Our assisted living accommodations include both studio and one-bedroom options, each designed with the comfort and needs of our residents in mind. While we currently have a waitlist, we do have some studio apartments available for immediate move-in.

Pet-Friendly Environment

While pets are not allowed in the assisted living units, they are welcome in the independent living sections of our community. Additionally, pets are permitted to visit, bringing joy and comfort to our residents.

Move-In Assistance

To help new residents transition smoothly into our community, we partner with Boundless Moving and Storage, a local company in Chattanooga that specializes in senior relocations.

Transportation and Amenities

Our monthly fees include a comprehensive range of services such as transportation for outings and doctor's appointments, three meals a day, medication management, and access to a nurse on-site 24 hours a day. Dietary restrictions are catered for with the help of our dietician to ensure personalized meal plans.

On-Site Medical Care

Dr. Nakula, our on-site primary care physician, is available to residents who choose to switch their care to our facility. However, residents are free to continue with their current primary care providers if they prefer.

Staff and Support

Our dedicated staff includes certified nursing assistants (CNAs), registered nurses (RNs), housekeeping, dining services, and office personnel, all working together to provide the best care and support for our residents.

Resident Concerns and Communication

If a resident has a complaint or concern, they are encouraged to speak with the director of assisted living to find a resolution. Communication with families is prioritized, especially when it concerns changes in a resident's care needs, health incidents, or overall well-being.

Safety Features

Our community is equipped with safety features such as emergency pendants for residents, which alert maintenance staff when assistance is needed. The memory care unit is secured with alarms on doors to prevent wandering and ensure prompt staff response.

Family Communication

Communication with resident families is an integral part of our community's approach to care. We keep families informed about significant changes in a resident's condition, care level needs, or any incidents that may arise.

Visiting and Tours

We welcome prospective residents and their families to visit Alexian Village for a tour and to experience firsthand the warmth and care we provide. Our staff is ready to answer any further questions and provide additional information, such as brochures, upon request.
