Cost Components at Aegis

At Aegis there are three components to the cost of what we do, the base rent, care, and a one-time community fee.

Base Rent

Base rent includes the apartment, emergency call system, available staff 24/7, weekly housekeeping and linen service, daily trash removal and bed making, weekly personal laundry service, unlimited meals per day, hydration, and snacks, scheduled transportation, robust life enrichment programing, general oversight by staff and monitoring by our nursing team. All our apartments are licensed for assisted living. We specialize in Light Assisted Living, Assisted Living, Transitional Care and Memory care. It is a great community to Age in Place and know that you have a safety net if you ever needed assistance.

Continuum of Care

Our continuum of care is like no other. You would have a personalized and individualized care plan. The care charges are additional and based on a point system which determined once a formal assessment is completed. The total points for care are determined by the level of assistance that is needed and some points will be determined by regulatory guidelines. The level of assistance is based on an assessment by our Health Service Director. We also have Registered Nurses 7 days a week and care provided 24/7 by our certified nursing assistants. We partner with Crown Health, so you do not have to worry about finding a new primary physician. Through Crown we have that covered! Our Geriatric Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Piruz Huda is also a staple in our community, and he can be a great asset to your quality of life and progression of life. We have found him to be a huge asset as far as providing comfort to our Residents who are dealing with the progression of cognitive impairment.

Community Fee

The one-time community fee is used for upkeep of the Community and to maintain the Community's common areas and furnishings. It is pro-rated up to 30 days. Each apartment has its own one-time community fee.

Life Enrichment

Our Life enrichment staff will engage you in activities based on the 7 dimensions of health and wellness. Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, Environmental, Spiritual, Professional and Social. We have fun engaging in different programs together and have a vibrant group of residents that share mutual interests.

Dining Experience

Our dining experience is unique as we know how important mealtimes are to our residents. We support unlimited meals in our Assisted Living and Our Life’s Neighborhood environment. You can enjoy other resident’s company and be supported in conversation or choose to dine in your apartment by as well. Our dining rooms are set up to have a true restaurant feeling. We take pride in hiring accomplished culinary directors who frequently meet with our residents to ensure they are excited about the menu and dining experience.

Current Move in Protocol

• Resident who have been Vaccinated do not need to quarantine.
• A negative PCR Covid test is required within 72 hours of arrival.
• Unvaccinated Residents have a 5 to 7 day apartment quarantine.

• Cable: $60 a month (Direct TV)
• Landlines are powered by Allstream
• Wine/Beer $6 a glass
• Salon dependent on services
• Parking $175 a month
