The Harbors at The Admiral at the Lake Assisted Living Services
The Harbors at The Admiral at the Lake has three neighborhoods that provide Assisted Living services. To ensure that residents reside at the most independent level of living, The Harbors offers the option of increased levels of assistance, as needed. The level of care is determined by an assessment conducted by the Director of Nursing.
Level I – Basic Care
Services included in the Assisted Living monthly fee:
- Daily breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared by our on-site culinary team.
- Weekly light cleaning services that include vacuuming, dusting, wet mopping of bathroom and kitchenette, and changing of bath and bed linens.
- Scheduled transportation to and from shopping centers and selected special events.
- Emergency call service in each residence with response from nursing staff to any emergency call.
- Routine maintenance of the residence, appliances and grounds.
- Social, recreational and wellness programs.
- Basic cable, Internet and all utilities included (except telephone).
- Licensed staff on site for care coordination, observation and monitoring of service needs.
- Minimal assistance with dressing and grooming reminders, cueing, and lower or upper body assistance (e.g., tying shoes, buttoning shirts/blouses, putting on TED hose).
- Bathing assistance up to two times per week.
- Well-being checks throughout the day.
Level II – Enhanced Care
Level I Basic Care services, plus the following:
- Limited assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs, e.g., upper and lower body dressing, more frequent bathing assistance).
- Escort services to the dining room and to community programs.
- Medications reminders.
- Licensed nurse gives injections (insulin, B12 injections), oral medications, topical medications, eye and ear drops and pain patches.
- Taking blood pressure or pulse, assistance with patches.
- Medication reconciliation by licensed nurse.
Level III – Comprehensive Care
Level II Services, plus the following:
- Moderate assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Resident remains involved in the completion of the activity.
- Assistance in managing incontinence. Incontinence products are not included.
- Increased well-being checks by Care Partners.
Level IV – Intensive Care
Level III Services, plus the following:
Level IV services are temporary and are put into place to accommodate a high level of resident needs. Services at this level are higher in intensity and frequency than Levels I, II, and III. This is a transitional phase between Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing.
